"Three Truths and a Dismissal" by Michael Berry

Just googled this title. There was a time in my late teens when I somehow found this poem online (it's only posted in one place and doesn't appear to be famous, so that's kind of surprising). I printed it out and taped it on my wall. I think that it disturbed my parents. Warning: There is a swearword in it. I am posting this more out of nostalgia than to make any sort of a point.
Although, I think that dismissal mixed with self depreciation is a fascinating human emotion (I want to say great or marvelous but I hesitate)... It's practically a staple for great stories, but I wouldn't want to live there.
