You want to be free?
I know folks much richer than you and they ain't happy, but it helps, right?
I know folks much poorer who could tell you what your day is worth
That's what's so funny about it all; the universality of discontentment
It's how I spell Irony.

The internet has gotten more intellectualized
I searched "I am happy" once in the late 90's and all I got where pages devoted to pets and children

Had a good laugh at the expense of a duct cleaning telemarketer named derik yesterday.
Picture the muffled, energetic and foreign accented reading of a script on his end
I give a long, happy/stupid sounding "hi Derik"
He goes off on the script reading for another incomprehensible 2 minutes
I tell him that I don't have any ducks but I have a cat and he's welcome to send someone to clean that. (I don't really have a cat).
After much attempt to bridge the communication gap, the conversation ended with him saying something like "uh uh uh... well okay then"... and me laughing my head off and saying loudly, "you clean ducks hahahahaha"
It was classic.
