The left and right wing

These wings both seem to perpetuate philosophies that seem somewhat simple on the surface but are extremely mind blowing just under the surface.

Is it fair to say that the right represents a desire for Justice with a selective motive towards mercy
While the left represents a desire for Mercy with a selective motive towards justice.

Does not the bible teach generally that humans are to practice mercy while justice is to be left to the lord?

Another angle, Are not powerful operators of systems responsible for that which they can not make use of? For example, a responsibility is placed upon for grocery stores for food that is waisted. They are limited in regards to how much they can waist. On the other hand companies often find it necessary to destroy old stock in order to maintain the economic need. Lamps that go out of style are sometimes destroyed in order to limit the number of lamps available rather than sell the lamps too cheaply and destroy the demand for expensive lamps. Does not the nation have in the same way a responsibility to those souls that it is not able to make use of within the system that it is operating? The system must either be changed to incorporate these people or they must be paid off and given a minimum standard of living for the systems inability to make them a part of the joy and surplus that everyone is able to experience through it's dynamics and structures.

It is for these reasons that I cannot understand why there is a Christian Right. Can't we leave that job to people like Ayn Rand?

thank you for reading these thoughts.

Doctors

So. For the past two weeks everytime that I lean forward, or slouch slightly, my left arm goes completely numb. I go to the doctor and wait in the waiting room for 2 hours and then he tells me that it's just a mechanical problem and I should sit up straight. Looks at me like I'm an idiot.

This is why I don't like going to doctors. I guess that this is the type of thing that a person is supposed to just ignore then?
